Great headline right? You’ll all be climbing over yourselves for a piece of this I’m sure.
Truth is, this job’s as exciting as it is frustrating as you never actually get to work on supporting products once you’ve helped launch them. And once they’re launched, I no longer have the time for my sneak preview videos because I’m busy creating names for the next wave of goodies.
Sure I get to see what’s coming months in advance but of the 15 or so items to pass through my hands so far this year, I’ve been able to speak about none.

January – and the best part of February for that matter – was one hell of a month.
It started out of course with the Global Kickoff in Rome where we had to kit the hotel out, prepare all promotional material including stands, showcases, no fewer than 5 videos, too many press releases to count and a make sure everyone’s presentation was squeaky clean.
Then immediately afterwards, we had to start working on the 7 new smartphones due to be presented at MWC in Barcelona. Seven? I thought there were only four new ones… That’s right – three got canned but only after I’d written the web texts. Grrrr…

In between writing the web content for a bunch of new smartphones I’ve been trying to get my hands on information about the notebook that is making a few ripples over on Twitter – the Aspire 3811TZ and Aspire 3811TZG, Acer’s first notebooks to get Greenpeace’s stamp of approval and receive an Energy Star 5.0 rating.

567,861. That’s the number of Unique Visitors to this site in 2009 and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank every single last one of you for an amazing year. Let’s just say that without you, 2010 wouldn’t be shaping up to be the year I hope it’s going to be.
This time of year is great to look back and see how far you’ve come, the lessons you’ve learned and plan ahead for the year to come. I love Google Analytics as it gives a great picture of the statistics without touching too much on the relevance, which I’ll come to in a moment.
As this site is more about you than it is about me, I’m delighted to publish what is a particularly interesting overview of 2009. For all of you interested in a year-end round up of stats, here they are (from Jan 1 – Dec 22). Enjoy!!
