	b.That problem is down to Vista no hibernating/sleeping properly. I&#039;m waiting for SP1 to provide a real fix. As I cannot reliably leave external devices plugged in, since they are the cause of my laptop not resuming from sleep.

	Something like a 20% discount to people who have purchased a new laptop within 6 months would be good. I know this happens already with warranties. It seems like I&#039;m sent information to upgrade my warranty every other day...</description>

		<description>Hi, I dont know if anyone can help. I just got an acer 5920, which I am happy about. I have two problems I cant figure out:

	a. I can not turn off the microphone
	b. When the screen is slightly closed while operating, it goes in sleep mpde, and will not wake up &#039;literally and have to restart it

	Im looking for a spare battery, and this seems the ideal place to get one as I don&#039;t usually trust buying any sort of rechargeable battery online from anyone except the manufacturer direct.

	But at £99 + shipping, batteries don&#039;t come cheap. I may have to shop around, being the poor student I currently am... :D</description>

	Acer&#039;s got a very strong ranking over here in Europe (it&#039;s the number one in most of the store launch countries) so that will give it a healthy chance to see and fix any flaws in the service before it goes global. That&#039;s my excuse anyway. If it works don&#039;t think for a minute they won&#039;t launch it State-side. Unless of course I get a thousand &quot;yes pleases!&quot; on this post in which case they&#039;d probably bring it forward...

	There used to be a buy link on the Acer Panamerica site (you can get there from the Acer.com site) but I can&#039;t find it anymore. I heard it was still active too. Anyone know where it is?</description>
