@Alexander

The rule (usually) is: if you can't turn it on, it has to go back.
If you bought it just a few days ago, then take it straight back to where you bought it and get a replacement.
I believe that if it's going to go wrong, it'll do so almost immediately, so take it back, OK?

Hi Michael,

My 6920 is still going strong.

Anybody that as this beast with Nvidia Graphics card, It's worth downloading the new drivers from Nvidia with the CUDA drivers not the one on the Acer site which as never be updated past the first update.

Makes the graphics move even faster than ever.

Cheers Ian. Now saving for a Predator System. :)

I had that fantastic laptop, only to put it in my poor excuse of a laptop bag and have it fall on the pavement (to my absolute horror, outside C103 in Union Street, of all places....) and insurance decided to give me the upgraded 6935G which I can only say, is quite a significant improvement over the 6920 =D

Both laptops are absolutely brilliant value for money, however, my tuba bass has also cut out =/

As for the nVidia panel on the widescreen, have you tried re-setting it to defaults? That worked for me when I somehow managed to get half the screen appearing in the top left hand corner of my TV....
