@Sascha,

Thanks for the fast review, yeah, I think it is using the same size keyboard as the original Aspire One. the touchpad could have been bigger for a change yes.

but the 10' started to look like a "laptop" rather then a "netbook", kind of disappointing in a way....

@jlmiller The press release confirms your gripe: "10.1" WSVGA high-brightness (typical 180-nit) Acer CrystalBrite™ TFT LCD, 1024 x 600 pixel resolution" which is a shame but - trust me on this one - expect great things from Acer in the next few *months*.

like I said in the article, Cool, sure. But wait to you see what’s coming next…

My only beef with both the 10.1 and the 8.9 is the video. Surely they could have spent a little more to get 1024x768. This little beauty would be excellent for us photographers who need at the very least 1024x768 (since the likes of Canon) will not make their product install on PC that has less than 1024x768.
I have the 8.9 and I plan to use it for checking out my shoots, but I really would have love to have been able to tether the shoot.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG !!! beautiful piece!

little bigger I suppose? with the old 3 cell battery, I can JUST fit it into my hoody's front pocket(but not every comfortable when the whole thing is dangling and pushing back and forth on my "you-know-what") isn't exactly practical.

but being bigger, I think it lost the idea of a netbook, the ASUS one offers 9300, this give a great gaming performence boost over the intel 950 on the current 8.9 edition, if the 10.1' does not come with a better graphics card, I think ti is not going to fly too much higher then the ASUS N10

battery life is more impressive then the 8.9 though~
