   I ordered my ruby red one at Jr.com on 2-6-09 and was told 2 to 4 weeks for delivery here in the USA. They still have them under pre-order on their website. It’s killing me this waiting.

   I sure will Michael. This is my first netbook but not my first Acer. I have an old Acer 736tvx or is it 726tvx notebook. Just had to have the cmos battery replaced. It has always performed like a champ. I love the Sunset Red better than ruby red. I will send you some pix of it when it arrives. I just talked to JR and they told me looks like next week is good possiblility. WWWWWWOOOOOOOOAAAAAAA.

   Just an FYI, I ordered one (10″ Blue) from Amazon on Feb 15, and it was delivered a few hours ago. So far I am very pleased with it, and aside from the stiffness of the mouse button it has been very easy to use.

   Just got my blue Acer Aspire One 10 inch from JR.com today. So far, I am very happy! Screen looks great. I’m typing fast with the little keyboard. I have had a few problems adjusting to the touchbad, but all in all, this machine is fast, quiet, and light. Yes!

    Great story this. I wish I’d known about it sooner – I would have tried to do something viral with it…

    Unfortunately as the article below says “Considering that Acer won’t be upping the price for the systems with the larger-capacity battery, those who can snag one of these Aspire One’s with extra-long endurance will have something of a collector’s item on their hands. Since there’s no way to know (without breaking into Acer’s inventory system) how many 5800 mAH batteries are out there, it’s sort of a crap shoot as to whether you’ll get one. For those that do, though, you’ll be able to brag that you have the longest lasting netbook to date.

    Hi everyone, Just got my Sunset Red Acer about 2 hours ago. I got the 4400mh battery. It is a burnt red color not ruby at all. I have pictures to upload for all to see. I tested the mouse buttons and they do not seem stiff as others have mention. Let me know how I can get the pictures to you Acer Guy. Will let you know more after I play with it.
