Hi, I've got a problem with my Aspire 3935. Basically the touch-bar buttons above the keyboard are faulty, and from posts on the web it seems the only solution is to disconnect the hardware. But this will mean I lose the functionality of the Wireless LAN enable/disable and Bluetooth enable/disable buttons.

So the question is, can anyone tell me how to remap/reprogram some of the other special function buttons so that they replace these functions? For example Fn+F9 and Fn+F10 are not used for anything on my system - so can I reprogram these using Launch Manager to function as Wireless and Bluetooth buttons?

Many thanks!

Hi Morris.
The patch I've scanned was downloaded from your mediafire link.
What I would just want to know by you is:
\have you put some kind of virus/trojan/backdoor/spyware/... in your patch or is detected as a virus ONLY because of the method you have used to compile it (I'm asking you this question also because Antiviruses detect as malware not only x32/64.exe --> http://www.threatexpert.com/report.aspx?md5=174696be651a15cad2d2b4757f873970 )
Thank you very much for your attention.
Best regards.

@Rappaping,

You should upgrade LM to V3 so you can use patch V12 and above instead. yes, the old ones seems infected. but the new ones should be fine as those are cleaned. They might show up with one or 2 results instead because of a method I have used to compile the whole thing to detect 32 and 64 bit. Personally used the one I have uploaded to Box.net and mediafire so, if they seem as infected, means that people has reported to be viruses. There is nothing I can do on that.

However, this project is no longer supported, so use it at your discretion.

Hi Lee,
I think your patch is very useful for my acer laptop, but when I've scanned it, this is the result:
http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/report.html?id=f25873d7db340fa0618c7390527746515f2ea08aae341ab8598c3687eeb7514f-1309931650

As I don't want to install any malware in my laptop, could you tell me more about the VirusTotal result?

Best regards.
