Hey quite an informative video. I really like the specifications. I bought an Acer Timeline 4810T a month ago and its really doing well. The good thing about Acer is it gives value for money and super cool features.

Excellent video! I agree with you Prakash, the Timelines are stunning in the flesh. I bought an Aspire 5810TG as I do play the occassional game (world of warcraft) when I’m not working. My clients love the unit as well, I spend more time talking about the computer than I do actually doing the work they’ve requested from me lol!
The place I got mine from (www.SaveOnLaptops.co.uk) in the UK were excelelnt. I even managed to get them to throw me in a nice bag for it! It’s a seriously stunning laptop so Kudos to Acer!!

Hi, I just bought an Acer AS5810TZ-4274. The touch-sensitive keys above the keyboard do not always work; the WIFI key is more like an LED indicator. I am only able to turn on/off wireless by using the Windows Mobility Center function. The machine works great otherwise. I am happy with my purchase, excellent battery life.

@Demansid
I’ve heard the WiFi button on the Timelines can sometimes be a bit difficult to use and not so “quick and easy”… I can only suggest you try to find the best “point” to use it … sometimes pushing just few millimeters further up on the WiFi LED makes it work like you expect…
Not so comforting I know but worth a try. Hope you enjoy everything else the 5810 has to offer though!

I just bought the Acer 5810TZ-4675 and was told that it would be great for both school work and playing World of Warcraft in my spare time. So far, its great for college, but not great for even what little gaming I do. From what I can tell, it’s not allocating the right amount of memory. WoW runs at a constant 8 fps both in and out of major cities. Can I change this? It has 3gb DDR3 memory…

@Leala,
The Timeline series has the 4500MHD graphics from intel, since these graphics are soldered on to the board(AKA build in), the most you can do is update the driver from intel’s official site.
Upgrading the ram won’t do much

Acer Aspire 5810T Timeline notebook is slim and light, measuring only 1″ at the thinnest point. The energy-conscious Timeline notebook features lower power consumption for long-lasting and energy-efficient portability, and has an ultra-light of just 2.4kg (5.3lb) with15.6″ screen resolution, making it both lighter and easier to carry around than anything comparable. The Timeline notebook comes with at least 8 hours of earth-friendly battery life and is available at a very affordable price tag.
