I also followed the instructions given by windows support editing the registry (deleting upper and lower filters) but nothing has changed. Can you give me any suggestions? I am wondering if I select a different model number when installing how bad it will screw up my computer. I would take it back to the store for help installing the upgrade but that's an hour away! Many of the older models (like zoom) don't have drivers for vista/7. Strangely I had mine working through vista via virtualbox of XP. I got 7 installed by removing sobi, quickcam drivers, and itunes. Then it went. But it blew away my virtualbox network driver. Took me a while to figure that out. And my HP 6500 stuff didn't work under 7 - I had to get an update - and it didn't update several files - so had to resort to a clean install. Now my printer works too.
