Who wants my job?

Great headline right? You’ll all be climbing over yourselves for a piece of this I’m sure.
Truth is, this job’s as exciting as it is frustrating as you never actually get to work on supporting products once you’ve helped launch them. And once they’re launched, I no longer have the time for my sneak preview videos because I’m busy creating names for the next wave of goodies.
Sure I get to see what’s coming months in advance but of the 15 or so items to pass through my hands so far this year, I’ve been able to speak about none.
Sure you’ve all seen the videos about the new beTouch and neoTouch phones and you all know there’s an Android 2.1 version of the Acer Liquid (called Liquid e for some reason) coming real soon but other than that my lips are sealed which means that this blog is seriously lacking in content.
So if I’m not able to speak about my 9-5, I’m going to turn my attention even more so to you, which is why you’re going to see a few changes here that’ll make this site a helluva lot more usable and a whole lot more interesting than it has been so far.

Acer’s got massive expansion plans for the next two years and I’ve learned to never underestimate their ability to bring home the goods way ahead of schedule and that means we’re going to be welcoming more and more new Acer customers to this site.
The goal? Simple: >1 million visitors in 2010.
So it’s time to upgrade everything, add the things I’ve been toying with over the past few months as well as adding some surprises I very much hope you’ll enjoy.

I think both Acer and This website are awsume. I say that as my trusty 8930 is broken, but I’m a bit more particular about sending my machine in for warrenty service than the average Joe. I have to take care of some things first. However to get approval for warrenty service was simple and quick.
Now, I wanted to say that I love Acer and think at this point they have an awsume product. I’ve also seen other companies go on a sudden push for market share, and their products fail as a result of. I hope Acer can keep their current level of quality and still be able to push this market share forward.

hehe, indeed, nice head line
@DVRuger,
Sure, the acer’s current quality is good, but I believe it can be better! but I love to see acer is going up the hill, not the other way! HEHE. finally, acer is more recognized by more population as acceptable products to purchase.

So Acer is enjoying success but when are we going to enjoy quiet Acer products? I bought your laptop in 05, the fan on that was the worst piece of crap ever to pass through my hands. I bought R3610 last year, the fan is better but still comparing to HP or even Samsung products yours is in a different (ie bottom) league.

@Maytey Hilarious reply man. I’ve heard a lot of stories about the fans in Acer laptops but none as succinctly put as yours.
Maybe someone should start an irritating noise grading chart so we can name and shame the worst offenders. No seriously!
Any seismologists out there with some dB measuring equipment lying around?
