Dell now selling the Acer Aspire One???

Nope, but it’s a pretty lame attempt at duping customers into thinking so.
Straight from the depths of black hat marketing comes this gem straight from Twitter (thanks eam0).
I’ve seen some shifty moves in the past but this one really does go beyond the acceptable. I’m wondering if/how Google/Dell/Acer will react to it since it clearly violates Google’s Terms and Conditions which, for precision, I’m posting here:
The world’s first review of the 10″ Aspire One?

Sascha from Netbook News posted what is probably the world’s first review of the 10″ Aspire One that is definitely worth a look.
I think I should clear something up (or start a debate) though. Although this is for all intents and purposes the second model from the Aspire One range, it is by no means to be considered a second-generation netbook. I’ve seen the road map, talked to the bosses, named some of the models and know what’s coming and the advances in both design and specs of the second (and then third gen. models) are astounding.
Where can I buy a 10″ Aspire One?

Karen wrote to me and asked a question I’m beginning to hear quite a lot:
Hi, have you heard anything (even rumors) of the actual dates the 10″ will
be on the market?
I don’t have an answer to this but I know they’ve started shipping (word from very high up). So far all I know is Amazon USA is stocking them and somewhere in my travels yesterday I saw them available for pre-order in the UK.
Is this the Acer smartphone? Or is there more?

You gotta be kidding me… We made it onto Engadget?? OK, for like a few hours only (Obama’s super secret Blackberry showed us the door) but Acer was there. I saw it and if you didn’t now’s your chance.
This is alleged to be on the list of devices about to be announced by Acer on the 16th February at the Mobile World Congress cellphone event in Barcelona.
Well I can tell you that…

Anyone spot the new kid on the block?
There have been so many leaks, snippets and pictures published already about the 10″ Aspire One, I’m kinda arriving late to the party but here it is anyway.
If you want to know what I was doing in the last half of the London Kick off, I was rewriting the press release to this which you can find in full here. And no I’m not responsible for the error about halfway down.
Today’s the day

So today’s the day.
A large and not insignificant slice of history is in the making, right here on our screens, across the world.
I’m not a particularly enthusiastic political activist. If I told you how many times I’d voted in my life, I think I’d be shunned off the face of the earth. But today’s different. It’s not about politics – it’s beyond that. The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language defines an era as “A period of time characterized by particular circumstances, events, or personages“. Today, then, without a shadow of doubt, marks the start of the Barack Obama era.

Just a quick post to say hi from London.
I’m here as part of the Acer Global Kick Off team which is – if you work for or with Acer – one of the year’s most important events as it’s here where plans get made.
There are some surprises (and challenges) coming in 2009 and it’ll be interesting to see which ones they announce tomorrow at the event.

After closely following the comments over the Christmas period and bringing some of them to the attention of the tech support people in Acer, I recently received a mail from the Acer Software Product Management team regarding the Live Update issues many of you have been experiencing with the Linux Linpus operating system.

Hi everybody,
You might not have noticed it, but the forum section is now open for business.
I should probably keep this a closely guarded secret as right now you can do pretty much whatever you like over there.
