Otherwise the console only lights and displays the current volume level, which can be altered by windows volume control. Some of the cinedash still works without the app installed. All went well except the CineDash volume control was very very slow working. I downloaded the Launch Manager application version 2.1.1.218 from the Acer website. After installaing this all is working fine.<br /> To find the Launch Manager go to the Acer website/Service and Support/Driver Download. Select Notebook/Aspire/Aspire8940G.
