What you might want to try doing is using the 64-bit Vista drivers that came with the computer that you hopefully have on the Drivers backup CD you hopefully created first before downgrading. Since the system is for my wife and she can't stand Vista (can't really blame her) I downgraded to XP Pro x64. After loading SP2 and all the drivers I still can't get the "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus" and "Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus" drivers to load. </p> <p>I've trolled the internet looking for drivers, attempted pretty much ever suggestion that is out there and is yielded no results. (Multiple Realtek driver revisions and patches/updates along with all the MSKB updates)</p> <p>This is a last effort before I have to try and reload XP Pro x64 and try the drivers/patches before loading SP2 (was the only suggestion I haven't tried yet) If anyone has any other suggestions I would really appreciate it. </p>
