There is a memory leak in Intel's wireless card (I think, one of Intel's drivers) and a couple revisions of the touchpad driver that was not evident until recently. Get those updated and that's got a good shot at helping solve your problems.

Got my 3935 a few days ago. Replaced Vista 32bit with 64bit so had to reinstall drivers and apps. The recovery partition contains these including ePowermanagement. Did you look there?

Regards

I have the new Aspire 3935.
When it is totally shut off (not sleeping nor hibernating), it discharges about 6% per 24 hours.

I disabled network boot function in the bios ,but it didn't make a difference.
I also unchecked every entry in the Device Manager that has an option for "Allow this device to wake the computer check box" and enabled all "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

Somehow Acer didn't supply ePower Management application with this laptop, so I cannot try it.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.
