   Hi Guys,

   I was seduced into buying an Acer 4810T by the promise of long periods of uninterrupted internet use away from home. BUT THERE IS NO WIRELESS INTERNET. It turns itself off every few seconds and needs to be rebooted or whatever. Can somebody offer a solution to this or do I need to drown my 3 day old computer.

   The wireless internet connection stops working. The orange light stops blinking and the internet connection is lost, for no apparent reason. I then have to run a Network repair for it to come back.

   I had installed Norton and I uninstalled it but it didn't solve the problem. What more information do you need?

   try changing channels on your router, and also check for updated firmwares.

   it is probably just dropping due to interference. if you can see more than 4 other wireless networks near you, then pick a channel that the others are not using.
