   Hi all, I just bought a 6930-6067 my first laptop ever. Been messin with computers since dos 3.0 and a tandy 286 so im not illiterate about this stuff. If this was a desktop I wouldn't be asking this question BUT on the bottom there is a place to install an xtra drive. I'm thinking 500g would be enuff for now but what do you recommend as far as brand or model. Do I need any exta cables? It was like pulling teeth on the acer support site just to get them to tell me it would accept an extra drive, thats why I'm here. Looks like a great site for info.

   most 6930's will have a drive bay, but no actual sata connector. make sure it has a connector before you go buy another drive.

   Ok, thanks for the info. I did not find a connector of any kind under the cover. Only the very edge of a mounted circuit board is visible on the inside closest to the C drive. Looks like mine is not one that will handle an extra drive after all. Thank you TechieDiva, you saved me alot of hassle buying and then having to return a drive that I couldn't use. I only wish this kind of info was more readily available on the ACER website.
