   Hello there cyber community.

   I recently purchased a Acer 5542 that has an inbuilt Blu-Ray drive. The driver is able to play them perfectly, and the HD screen is certainly fantastic.

   The problem I am having is with the HDMI socket playback. It has no problem connecting with my HD 32'LG tv, the sound is brilliant also. The problem arises when I try to watch a Blu-Ray while connected to my larger monitor.

   Acer Arcade deluxe will start to play a Blu-Ray disc, but after a feww seconds, will cut the playback off with the message "Play Movie can't playback the protected content".

   This is obviously to do with copy protection, but why won't it playback on a external monitor? Does it think I'm trying to copy it?

   Is there away I can get the playback to work properly?

   Would appreciate the help, thank you.

   You have to make it where it displays only on the external display and not the LCD screen as well as the TV.
