Hi everybody. I have a 5920 laptop (with the Intel graphic card, not the NVidia). What are the normal temperature ranges?

I am using SpeedFan (almico.com). The CPU measure is about 40 - 50ºC, the HDD about 45 - 50ºC and the ACPI temperature (I guess it is somewhere in the motherboard). But that's when the computer is almost idle (usually only downloading). But under load (I tested with a Nod32 scan) the temperatures go about 70-80ºC. Any idea of how refresh it? Are normal those measures?

    Thanks

idle is normal, load is a bit high.

try cleaning out the vents and remove any dust from the fan.

@jfriaslo: ambient temp can also be a factor.

    @ jfriaslo

You have to google ACPI temperature.
It's something like the temperature of the system that monitors system temperatures.

There is no way to refresh that reading that I have found.

use speedfan to determine your temps. It is a free download.
