   I've had a 5920G for over a year now. I always used it on my External monitor by HDMI.

   Sudenly one day i turned it off, when i turned it on that same nigth i got no video at all on the external monitor, i unplugged the HDMI and nothing on the laptop screen either, i did hear windows sounds on the speakers so i tried Remote Desktop and yes my computer did boot normally up to windows but i was getting any video either VGA, HDMI or Internal.

   I changed the video card with my bother's (we have the same computer) and mine worked fine on his computer, while i sill had the same problem on mine.

   Can you see POST messages (RAM test, drive list, etc)?

   maybe your screen connector is loose, you may have to pop the the cover just above the speakers to check for it.(you need to remove several screwed in the back to get to it.
