   Hi guys, I was trying install win7 on laptop and when it restarted all i got was black screen
   with a blue box asking me for password? It wont even let me use my F2 or system restore keys.
   Please could someone advise me on this.

   maybe your bios is faulty. try backing up the bios then upgrade it if didnt work try downgrade it.

   Thanks for helping out in the forum, however please don't tell random strangers on the internet how to defeat bios and hdd passwords.

   There is no way to know they are the legit owners.

   Also, please refrain from posting links to password unlockers that charge for their services.
