    Hi, Acer guys!
I purchased an AAO 532h, 3 Three days ago.
I'm trying to set up winXP.
But the system doesn't recognize the HDD.
I tried to use a trial Package of XP3 that updated SATA/RAID. Then I integrated AHCI from acer page into winXp set up files. but it didn't work.
I see "insydeh20 setup utility" when booting.
    Is that problem?

    Hello destiny,

Please check if your xp restore is not already supported in the "alt-f10" function. To test this, boot up your laptop and keep pressing the "alt-f10" combination. The laptop should then boot into the recovery setup and hopefully you should be able to select Windows Xp or Windows 7 system default restore.

What you can also do is check in the BIOS and see if under "Advcaned Options" there is a setting for "SATA Mode" , set this to "IDE" instead of "AHCI".

Normally, all VIsta and WIndows 7 pre-installed systems are set to AHCI on the SATA mode. Attempting to install XP will trigger a BSOD of code 0x0000007B. Changing the SATA mode to IDE, will solve that problem.
