   hi

   i have an accer aspire one with linux i don't know what i've done but it's stopped playing videos e.g. bbc iplayer all of a sudden, it will still play youtube video, please help :-)

   i'm not sure what VLC player is

   i must have done something to stop it from working - i really don't know what though..aargh!

   however, you might be better off backing up your data and reloading to factory default. most likely some of the library dependencies are now broken which is why you cannot play files.
