Acer wireless problem

I just bought a new Acer laptop (4530-6823). After having it up and running for approx. an hour the wireless suddenly stopped working. Then I got the "blue screen of death" and it would appear that the hardware itself has actually broken. (Every time that I press the Signal Up button now it says that there is no wireless device.)

I'm wondering now what my options are. Would I be able to send it back under warranty? Or should I suck it up and try to fix it myself? Is there a quick fix that I am missing?

Any direction or guidance would be much appreciated!

If warranty repairs are an option, those are ALWAYS best. Opening the case for anything more than looking inside is often noticeable by technicians and will usually void your warranty.

Send it in under repair. It might just be a bad card.

One thing you could do is uninstall and reinstall the current driver for the wireless card.
