   Hi
   Hope someone can advice me. After several happy months I started getting lots of freezes under windows 7 with event ID 129 NVStor.

   To cut a long story short, after following lots of advice found here and there (incl changing the harddrive) I decided to bite the bullet and replace the motherboard. I'm looking for suggestions as to a suitable motherboard to replace the MCP73PV 333MH, which will:
   1) Not use NVIDIA I think this was were the problem started)
   2) fit easilly in the case without straining these fat old arthritic fingers too much.
   3) Work with the existing bits and pieces incl. the CPU 2.33GH intel core2 quad Q8200.

   Has any replaced the motherboard on a similar machine?

   Hello Este,

   Usually, I replace Acer parts with Acer parts. Installing another mainboard would bring you driver issues, cable and configuration issues.
   Obviously it will work with any mainboard that supports your current specs - meaning the memory has to fit onto the new board, the cpu etc etc which will be far of the scope of Acer replacement parts.
