   I have an Aspire 7720G that I have put XP SP3 on to instead of Vista.

   Managed to get all drivers and everything works except the wireless card comes up as disabled when I boot from cold. If I then restart the computer all is fine and usually stays fine even if I reboot again.

   I have the latest driver for the Intel 3945ABG wireless card and have tried everything else I can think of including playing with the Wireless Zero service.

   Any ideas anyone?

   no need to reboot.
   just go to your Control Panel --> Network Connections; then re-enable your wireless adapter.

   Thanks but tried that.It thinks about it for a while, says 'Enabling' then returns to the disabled state.
