   I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem, whilst using the internet my laptop will loose its connection to my router and when windows 7 tries to 'solve' the problem it freezes the system. Since it has started to freeze when it looses its connection i just re-start my comp which cures the problem the only issue is it may loose its connection straight away or it may not loose it all night but i cant seem to find that it does it whilst im doing something specific.

   Any ideas peeps????

   Well, I have purchased 8943G less than a week ago and returned it because of the exact same problem you are having. Micro Center gave me another same model to see if the first one had some kind of defect however, second laptop has the exact same problem.
   After talking to Acer support, sales department told me that my computer is just fine and I should purchase one of their $200 software support center package. However, after several tests Technician online told me that my Acer has a defective wireless hardware.
   So i am returning the computer tomorrow for the second time. :( I really liked the specs of this laptop but without wireless connection I have no use of this laptop. So I would recommend that you do the same.
