   I got my Aspire One a few days ago and it's been working fine, but now it won't run off the battery.
   It runs off mains perfectly, and it Windows says the battery is 100% charged, but if I take the power cord out while it's running, the screen turns white and it makes a strange buzzing sound.
   If I plug the cord back in while the screen is white, the display shows whatever was on the screen while it was still running, but everything is frozen.
   I have read of similar problems with different Aspire One models, but the solution to those was a BIOS update that fixes the battery charging system (They wouldn't charge if it was too low). Their netbooks would also shut down if disconnected, and Windows said the battery was fully charged, but their battery light was orange, and mine is blue, so this could be a different issue.

   I'm running Windows 7, please help me!

   Hello Explosive,

   I assume your battery is faulty - I had previous models with the exact same issue. When we replaced the battery, the issue was solved. By any means, as you said "I got my Aspire One a few days ago", it should be under warranty - so you can send it to an authorized Acer repair centre for repairs.
