Aspire One crystal webcam does not work in AIM

    I have an Aspire one. The crystal webcam opens up in the control panel just fine, but when I try to use it with AIM (in AOL), it says that it is being used by another application. The person I'm chatting with cannot see me, but I can see their video. I've tried using it in the standalone version of AIM and it doesn't work there either. It appears to connect for a second (can see a small video of myself in the lower left corner), but then it instantly disconnects. I've googled and found alot of people seem to have the same issue, but I have not found a solution anywhere yet. Can anyone help? Thank you.
