   Hello, I know there have been plenty of posts about messenger probelms but i havn't seen any about this one: i can log in fine but an error message appears saying..'invalid certificate chain, the certificate chain presented for contacts.msn.com is not valid'

   I can get round this by going into the account settings, editing, and selecting 'use a windows messenger compatible service' but this means i can't use my webcam or see any of my contacts' webcams.

   Anyone able to help? i have done an update by the way..

   you need to run the update again, but make sure your not running messenger at the same time
