   Windows 7 comes out on October 22nd, 2009. Any Acer computer purchased from June 26th to October 22nd that runs Windows Vista Home Premium, Business Edition, or Ultimate should qualify for a free upgrade to that respective version of Windows 7.

   Windows Vista Basic and all versions of Windows XP are not eligable for this program.

   ** USA and Canada only, as I cannot confirm this is happening elsewhere, though I can't imagine it not I just have no way to confirm it**

   Where do we sign up? And will upgrading to Windows 7 void the warranty? I tried it the beta and it almost wiped out my recovery partition.

   Oh that! I already saw that. I thought this was a different offer.
   Its funny I tried that about 3 weeks ago, and it did'nt work, it said my serial # was invalid, I even copied and pasted from the Acer System info window to make sure I entered it in right. Now all of a sudden it works! Cool Beans!
