   Hello all,

   I tried to upgrade my Bios but it failed and my laptop doesn't boot. The screen is black, LEDs are on and screen is black.

   Can you help me fix the BIOS and make my laptop work?
   I'm really sad and confused.

   Thank you and I think you will help me find a solution to my problem.

   You need to do a Phoenix crisis (BIOS) recovery. (I checked, and the 8920 is Phoenix BIOS.) You'll have to do an internet search about it, and for the files.

   I can't offer anymore information to you, but it will work: I'm sure.

   Please write back if you are still stuck.

   The most important thing is you have power, so you can recover.

   Also anyone else, because when the BIOS goes wrong it's very upsetting. I know from experience, the laptop is finished until you recover the BIOS. I recovered mine and the sense of refief was great.
