   Hi,
   I'm a total newbie when it comes to Linux (and Linpus), having been stuck with Windows for many years....
   I have just brought an Aspire one with Linpus, and I am trying to install a CD ripper.
   I did all the basic stuff (like enabling the hidden menus, etc) and found a CD ripper on the list of software displayed under "Add/Remove software."
   I selected the software (soundjuicer?) and went through the install process. Everything seem to go well until the very end, when the install failed after coming up with an error.
   Chances are I am missing something very obvious, here, but as I say I am new to this Linux stuff.
   Can anyone help?
