corrupted XP Professional in a dual boot option

    I have an Acer Aspire 5670 with 2 OS, Vista and XP Professional both installed under a dual boot option.

    Vista works fine, but XP Professional must be corrupted because it always give me a blue screen while booting.

    Is it possible to repair XP while in Vista?

    Did you slipstream the AHCI (SATA) drivers into your Windows XP Professional installation?

    What you can do to test if the AHCI setting is to go into the BIOS and change the SATA Controller method from SATA (or AHCI) to IDE. And try loading into XP. If that works, then you have an AHCI driver issue and it needs to either be slipstreamed into a reinstallation of your computer OR installed using an after-the-fact method described here:
