Thanks for this forum and all who are willing to respond! I have a 4730Z and have a few general questions:
    1) using eRecovery when you back up the factory default to CD, is the hidden file on the D: Drive (I assume it is a hidden file)
    2) can the hidden file be moved -- say, if i want to repartition and eliminate the d drive -- and just store the hidden files on the external drive i have
    3) can i repartition the D drive to make it much smaller so that it holds only the factory default files
    4) when i do the full or incremental backups, can i just back up to external hard drive and forget about backing on D drive
    5) what's the fastest way to uninstall all the software that came with the computer -- i would like to have it available if i ever want to reinstall -- can i selectively reinstall files from the backup image
    6) can i do a 'test' install of the contents of C: on the D: drive to see if the eRecovery actually works.

    thanks very much.

fastest way to uninstall all driver/softwares and have a list to select from, you need eRecovery manager
