   I have an Acer Aspire 2010. I need to restore to factory settings but my e restore doesn't seem to be there. When I follow the instractions it doesn't come up and when I seek out Empowering Technology it's not on the system.

   So, what now? How do I get it, or how can I reinstall windows without it?

   what do you mean by follow the instructions? did you press Alt+F10 at the acer logo upon boot-up?

   Yes indeed.. I did. Aren't those the instructions? I pressed ALT F10 at the acer logo, I pressed ALT and tapped F10 at the setup through the boot and then I found a site that suggested I press ALT F10 continiously. I did all. It boots up just fine and never heads into e-recovery.

   you laptop series probably doesn't have eRecovery feature.

   hi ya goys i'v got laptop acer aspire one 8930g when i switch on the laptop it goes to press F2 to enter setup but it just dead it wont log in inor nothing just stays any help pls

   maybe ur laptop dosent have any erecovery setup. or u just wipe out the entire setup on you hardisk >.<
