    hi all,
I've had my acer 3690 for 3 years and I've never had anything go wrong with it until recently, I've had to have a new hard drive fitted after it got corrupted, what i would like to know is if i can use my recovery disks that i created when i first got it. the guys who have fitted new hard drive want to charge me £60 to re-install it. can anyone help?

Yes you should be able to use the recovery disks. If you get an error while attempting to do the recovery process you may have to first do a format of the hard drive and attempt the recovery again.
