    Hello!
Ive bought an Aspire 6935 some year ago, and was wondering how to do when/ if i have to do a complete/ clean reinstall of my windows Vista. I have done some reinstallation of the XP on my earlier computer, but am not familiar with the Vista way to do...

Windows web- help says insert the Vista disc, but i have no such! Is it as simple as press F10 on startup, and then insert my homemade "Acer recovery"- discs (do they contain Vista and all the rest)?

    Thanx! / Örjan

You can use the Acer eRecovery program to make recovery disks and then boot from them or use the program itself to restore the computer to an out-of-box state.

    Hi,

You need to tap 'Alt + F10' on the Acer splash sreen repeatedly (try not to hold down any of the keys as doing this will not alwyas load teh eRecover programe. Once you have done this it should then be followed by a loading bar with 'Window Is Loading Files' above it.

Sometimes you get a screen that says 'edit windows boot options for...' if it says Windows setup or Acer eRecovery, you just have to press enter, if it says 'for Windows Vista' you will need to restart the unit and try agian.
