   I reguarly use msn and webcam, but i now found out i cannot use msn and webcam with the standard messenger.

   I have found amsn, but cannot figure out how to install it?

   Can anyone shed some light on this please :)

   I'm a bit unsure what problem you have from your description but here comes an attempt at solving it.

   If it's Windows Live Messenger you're using and your web cam isn't working I suspect you still have the trial version of McAfee installed.

   There is a known bug with one version of the Internet Security from McAfee and the web cam function in WLM (of course I can't find the link to the document about this from McAfee at this moment :)).

   The guys at McAfee are working on a fix.

   Although if you're not going to use McAfee for your antivirus and protection purposes after the trial period, I suggest you uninstall it and find some other program to do the job for you, thus making the problem disappear.
