   Upgrade advisor says to uninstall this and reinstall after upgrade.I can uninstall ok but how do I reinstall after the upgrade when it has gone? And what does it actually do?!

   it is a utility to help you manage your wireless card. not necessarily needed. If you want it back you can always download it from intel.com

   more than likely, W7 will have the driver for your wireless card built in and windows can manage your wireless card so the proset will not be needed.

   Okay fine. Removed Intel Pro - had to use an uninstaller but it went. Insert Acer upgrade disc which then tells me the laptop Acer Aspire 5735 is not supported and goes on about a clean install and the website etc. This despite the Acer website saying the machine is upgradable and them sending me the discs (£14...)
   What is going on - does anyone have any ideas!!?
