Hi all! Really hope you can help me with this. Have been agonising over various issues regarding the Timeline series....

First question: Can't decide between getting the 14 inch 4810 or the 15.6 inch 5810. Is there any reduction in performance if I got the larger screen module when they both have the same processor (Pentium Dual Core SU4100 1.3ghz)??? Reviews seem to be much better for the 4810 and I can't seem to fathom why. Any thoughts?

Next: As I am not a gamer but a writer, I am only planning on using the laptop for word-processing duties, internet surfing, some TV streaming and watching the odd DVD as well as some IM-ing. Is there, then, any real-world difference between me getting the Pentium Dual Core SU4100 1.3ghz (the more common, it seems) and the Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4ghz?

Question #3: What differences are there between getting one with integrated graphics and one with dedicated? I repeat: i won't be gaming, but will having dedicated give me better quality video/screen performance??

Last question: I currently own a 6 year-old desktop running on XP with a Pentium 4 - 530 HT 3.0ghz single core processor (1gb Ram), but would love to know what positive (and negative) differences I'll notice between this and, say, the 4810 with the Dual Core SU4100 CULV 1.3 ghz processor (4gb Ram)??

Sorry for the multiple questions, but desperately confused and unable to make my mind up. Your thoughts, insight and wisdom on this subject will be hugely appreciated!

    Cheers
    P
