   Hi,

   I have a new battery that is supposed to compatible but it doesnt recognize in 2 of my aspire laptops.

   Is there a workaround?

   sounds like a bogus battery. cheap ebay battery?

   What model notebooks?
   3rd party battery?
   Tested with original acer battery?

   Two options come to my mind:

   1- They are not compatible (I advise official "acer" battery use only, ive seen allot of melted notebooks caused by 3rd party battery/adapers).

   2- The notebook('s) cant see any battery at all (in other words the mainboard needs to be replaced).

   yes, it is ebay,

   i purchased before and they have worked.

   this one is supposed to be compatible, and it is made for acer

   model: aspire 5610 and a 5100

   my 3 older batteries are recognized
