New realtek drivers and cinebass.
(1 post)-
Anybody having problems with the cinebass working with any new realtek drivers. Since I've had the 6935G I've been updating the drivers when they've been released by realtek. I knew that you had to install the original drivers and then update because the original drivers had a file or two to allow the cinebass to work. But about a month ago I had windows 7 installed and thought I could live without the cinebass until any solutions came along to work under windows 7 but the audio under windows 7 sounded all kinds of wrong.
I then messed around with windows 7 and corrupted the bootloader. So used acer recovery to reinstall vista. I installed vista and the original driver and when trying to install new drivers they sound justbad. cinebass doesn't work and there is a real lack of bass in the headphones. I listen to a lot of music through headphones and the original drivers lack the sound quality the newer ones have.
So is anyone having problems with the new drives or is it just me. I also have acer eaudio and when you put the music in to rock it goes really tinny with newer drivers. with the original the rock setting sounds like expect it.
All I want is the sound to work under the newer drivers like it does under the originals.
