   I have an acer aspire one zg5 (AoA 150), XP home edition, 160gb hdd and is driving me insane
   everything seem to be working except for the sound
   there is no sound
   not even a beep
   check control panel/ sound to see if it is mute (but it is not)
   try to update driver not working
   try to use Alf-F10 recover not working
   the problem is this Acer has no recovery CD
   try to use the recovery to create a set of CD, not working
   have try the Acer site but have no luck in getting a set of recovery CD(site is so hard to find stuff)
   any idea?

   1. Be sure you didn't turn the sound off by accident.

   2. Get the latest sound card drivers from Acer's website.

   3. Check volume levels again.

   4. If that still doesn't work take it to get checked by a local repair shop. It may just be defective.

   5. Let us know.
