Power on button works now and again - Acer Aspire 6930G

    I have an Acer Aspire 6930G and it is still in warranty. What happens is that when I press the power on button it sometimes works but then does not at other times. I believe that this is an issue with the actula button connected to the keyboard but just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this problem and if there was any workaround other than sending it back to Acer.
