   I have an Acer Aspire 6920 laptop.

   All was fine up until today when I have inserted a CD into the CD/DVD drive. No discs will 'play' at all.

   I have checked the device manager it indicates that the drivers are up to date but gives the following "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)". I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing but still it won't work.

   Help please!

   Drive itself could be bad. Won't know for certain till you get it into a shop to look at.
