I don't really use my DVD drive at all, but a SSD would come in very handy. Is it possible to replace the DVD drive? I know it uses a SATA connector, so that shouldn't be a problem.

    I'm using a Aspire 5940G, btw

you can use a DVD drive. Make sure that the drive fits in the slot properly

I want to replace the DVD drive with a SSD (like a 2.5" HDD, but using flash memory). I guess I need some special enclosure for that, do you have any idea where I could get one?
