Stereo mix no longer works after upgrading to Windows 7.

    I have an Aspire 3690g that I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. After upgrading, I enabled the stereo mix option and set it to default, but it did not work. I have installed and reinstalled the Realtek HD Audio drivers from both the acer support site and the Realtek site. It says that it is working properly, but the green bar does not raise next to it, even with the level set to 100. I have tried searching google for a solution, but I can only find how to enable it, not how to get it to work properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
