   Am still having problems with the onlineupdate/liveupdate.

   Needless to say it wouldn't work so (not wanting to re-install the OS), went onto update.linpus.com and updated everything from the version (v1.0.9). The update list then didn't say I needed them anymore after installing manually. However the liveupdate still didn't work. I had read that once you installed the newer version from the recovery disk then it did work so I tried to update the system to a higher version number. I went into that folder on the update.linpus.com site and looked at the update list, downloaded everything from it (including the latest kernal update) and installed them, however on the "about" menu it still lists as v1.0.9.

   Any words of wisdom? Advice?

   If you've updated the system with non-Acer updates then some functionality of the unit may be lost. The best thing you can do is the simply restore the unit and go from there.
