I've had the Aspire 3201 desktop for about a month - but recently it comes up with the message "Warning! Your chassis has benen opened" - I opened the PC when I first got it = but didn't have the problems then.

I've googled suggesttions on how to disable this in the BIOS but cant find the chassis warning to disable it - I've looked in all the options - unless I'm doing something wrong?

    Any help would be great.

enter the bios by pressing "Del"ete or F2 when turning it on.

once in the bios, go to PC health status.

Look for chassis intrusion or case opened, or something similar.

use your keys and change the option to clear or reset.

    save and exit the bios

when it reboots, go back in, same place and there should be an option to disable the chassis intrusion. set it to disable, save and exit.

won't give you the message anymore, even if you open the case.

I've tried this several times and I dont have any option under PC health referring to the case/chassis - only the fan. I've looked under all the other options and nothing!

Open the side panel, locate the cover switch somewhere on the side, follow the cable to the mainboard, remove it from the mainboard.
