   when my laptop is turned on the password for wireless networks have all been changed to "password". i enter the password to get onto my wifi and its fine until it next gets turned off, signing back in if i lose connection without and problems, but as soon as its turned off i have to re-enter the password. my sisters laptop has the same version of vista and doesn't have the problem, so i assume its something to do with the laptop

   Do a full virus and spyware scan. Sounds like you may have something there. As well, make sure you have the "save password" box checked when you're entering the password for the wireless network.
