Wireless printing problem with AA1 Linpus
(2 posts)-
Help. I can't find my networked printers.
I have 2 Ubuntu laptops that use them fine using CUPS, but CUPS on my Aspire One seems to be old / broken.
I have tried updating, but I get dependency and compatibility issues :-
[user@localhost ~]$ sudo yum -y upgrade cups
Gives these errors after a whole lot of information:-
---> Package udev.i386 0:135-3.fc11 set to be updated
--> Processing Conflict: notification-daemon-xfce conflicts notify-daemon
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: libgnutls.so.13(GNUTLS_1_3) is needed by package libpurple

I need to enable JetDirect functionality in CUPS so that I can direct my AA1 to the sockets my printers are using on my network.
How can I resolve this?
Thank you.
